Have Fun with Free Online Photo Editing Tools

As most of you who visited my previous hubs would know about my interests in photography. Nowadays, there are so many online photo editing tools which would help you to explore your creativity. There are a few sites which I will share with you in a minute, I promise.
There are two different kinds of photo editing tools which I categorize. The first one is to correct and enhances your photos. For example, you need to correct the lighting or red eyes. The most popular one that everyone uses is Picasa. This is a very user friendly program which is free. Of course you can sign up for a premium service which would broaden the options. I also love the program which came with it came with my old computer which called HP Explosion SE. It gives me the options of adding effects such as stars, bubbles, puzzles, etc. I have so much fun with it. I will give you a sample of my fun photos. Here is the link to free download for Picasa.

Another type of programs would be a template. For example, you can use your own picture and turn it into the cover of Vogue™ Magazine. The most popular site would be PhotoFunia. I only discovered that through a friend; bless her heart to share that on Facebook. That is my favorite site. Besides that, there are Photo505 and Deefunia. You will have to play with them and choose one that works for you. Each photo editing tool gives you a unique experience. Here are the links to the above websites.
Who says a hobby has to be expensive? This one is free. With the new technology, we can have the unexpected and surprising results from our imperfect pictures! I hope you will enjoy all the free online photo editing tools in the world. Please leave me some comments after you try them.

Great references. Not everybody has access to photoshop, so it is nice to see free editing tools like this. I liked your example pictures too. One of the coolest parts of photo editing is mixing your own pictures with others. Great stuff!

I opened this because my beloved Corel Paint Shop has ceased to function. I'm lost without my photo-editor so I'll definately be downloading Picassa - hope learning curve is not too difficult. I've never bothered, with the template type - indeed I wasn't aware of their existance! So many thanks for this hub - next time you see my articles, they might look very different. PS Love the bubble pic.
