Top reasons of why people are late to work

When we were young, we heard the excuse of "my dog ate my homework". People who are late would try to give you stories like:
There was traffic even though I live ten minutes away. .
My alarm didn’t go off.
My kid was sick.
My car broke down.
I got locked out of my apartment when I took out the garbage.
My cell phone died and I couldn’t call in.
I was as sick as a dog.
I woke up and thought it was Sunday.
I didn’t go to bed till this morning.
We can go on and on with this but how much of that was true?
People who are chronically late can always come up with excuses. In their mind, they can justify the reasons that they are late. That way, they won’t feel guilty. Does it make it right? That is an individual’s determination. Most of the people who are chronically late because they are doing it unconsciously. They might have something more than just a bad habit. Perhaps they are unhappy with their jobs. Until they find out the cause of it, they will never change.

I thinks we have a many reason to late. But occasionally is not a big problem, but if do this very often I think become bad habit.

Well,we really have many excuses for being late. when we intend to be late, we have already drawn words to say and what is funny is that, nobody really can tell how true is that unless someone justifies that you really intended to be late. But, in my case I always see to it that I come on time and I hate to wait.

Hi! Good idea for a hub article. I've always wondered if people really expect me to believe their excuses for being late. Seldom late myself, the few times I have been, I simply apologize.

It's funny 'cause, in high school, I used to have a notebook of excuses. I just mixed them up, made sure I didn't use the same excuse twice in a row, and I could usually get away with it.
Growing up, though, I've learned to be more responsible. Thanks for an informational hub.
